Doctor's Visit Finally

After I posted last night, I watched Alice in Wonderland again. I still think it needs a sequel. I came down to my computer and looked at the comments left on Persephone and on my spark people blog. I then closed down my computer and went back up to my room to get some sleep.

I woke up at about 5:10 this morning. I really didn’t have any pain. Before 6, I had a glass of tea, but that’s all I allowed myself. Pain started to show up in back and then belly slowly. I decided that even if the pain was gone I was going to the doctor. You don’t hurt for a month for nothing. I still had nausea.

I don’t even know if anyone is reading any of this. Oh, well. I’ll keep writing.

K. I went to the doctor. After getting weigh, came in at 179, and poked and peed in a cup. Guess what the problem has been…. Come on guess? I have……an…..urinary track infection. I can tell you now they are not fun. I have to take a pill twice a day for week. He also gave me something for pain. I think I might have done that with cleaning out Buddy’s 2 ½ tank twice a week. So he may need to live in his gallon bowl for a while, which is not good, but I need a break for my back.

I am glad that it is not something more serious. Thanks to everyone who prayed and to those who commented on my various other sites. I’ll try to be back on them as soon as I can.

Tax Free Weekend Begins

I woke up at a bit before 3 am. I went to sleep late night around 8pm. I went into the kitchen and found that someone had made tea and had not turned off the stove. I did that got me a glass of tea.

I thought for hours about asking to go to the doctor. The pains are going away as I walk, but I got a temp of 99.3 just sitting, but I got it to go down to 98.7. I really want to go shopping today. I have been feeling better. Mostly now the pain is in my back and not my belly. I have also been having pains in my hips. I think it really has to do with my weight and not being that active. I’ll give it another day. I can still go tomorrow or Sunday.

Well Chris got some jeans and some t-shirts. I also got my backpack. We got a few supplies, but we plan to go to Wal-Mart and get the rest. I felt fine as we shopped, but as I began to eat lunch, around 11 am, I wasn’t really hungry. I ate, but not too much.

I watched Alice in Wonderland today. I think that there should be a sequel. Of course since I’m a huge Labyrinth fan, I saw something that others might not have.

I didn’t feel like eating dinner. Dad finally says I’m going to the doctor. I’ll be going when the office opens up. So please pray that it’s nothing serious. Just in case I’ve gotten my old horde green backpack packed up.

Feeling A Bit Better

Well last night I feel asleep again before midnight, thanks to some Pamprin. I slept till about 8:30 this morning. I really only felt the TOM pains. I walked for maybe two hours and all I had was back pains. I felt pretty good. At least it wasn’t as bad as it had been. Actually I think last month it was about the same way, but the pain had not been around long when TOM had come.

Well I didn’t mention it yesterday, but I sent back Julie & Julia. I should get the new movie tomorrow. I already have new books to pick up at the library. I won’t be getting them till Saturday at the earliest. They are closed tomorrow and I don’t feel like going today. Mostly cause of TOM being here. Besides some of the books from yesterday are actually more than one book inside. So even though I checked out seven physical books, I checked out more than that really. I’ll try to have a couple of the books finished before Saturday.

I actually thought this morning when I woke up it was Friday and not Thursday. I watched about thirty minutes of Dr. Oz. He covered what causes an aappendicitis. That’s what I thought I might have. He did mention that the pain starts in the upper belly, but I’ve had those back when I was diagnosed with Acid reflux. I would take an antacid and the pain when away. I’m having it at times, but mostly it’s on both sides of my lower belly and back. I’ve been taking Tylenol aka Equate brand. It does nothing for the pain in my back. The only way to get rid of the back pain, for me, is walking. The pain in my belly only goes away when I’m walking.

I did do something good yesterday that I didn’t mention before. I turned my mattress. I haven’t done that in awhile. I think it might have helped a bit. I’ve had it for five years and I know they can last awhile, but I’m thinking I need a new one. One side is really bad.

I should mention I think I have hemorrhoids. I have at times as I wiped gotten a bit of blood on the tissue, but now as I sit typing I’m having pains, you know where. If I’m not sitting I don’t have any pain. My dad knows and he’s the one who told me it’s that, but it could also be that I think I have diarrhea. I’m saying that because my poop looks more water than anything. Yes, I know it’s gross, but if you were having pains would you not look to see what could be the cause.

I think I may have an ulcer. I took an antacid and the pain in my upper belly went away, but then it came back. I’m at a lost.

It seems that Pamprin may be helping with the pain. I took two and it seemed to help. Anyway, it’s 7 pm CDT, and I’m feeling sleepy. So I’m posting this rather early. I plan to see if I can follow Thief V in My Sims Agents and get to his hideout and I’ll read till I’m ready for bed.

Tomorrow starts the tax free weekend here in Alabama. I know my dad is planning to go and get my brother some clothes. I plan to go with them. I don’t have much left from selling my textbook, but I might ask for some help in getting me a new backpack.

Well until tomorrow.

No Class AND New Blog Idea

Well after I posted yesterday, I slept from 2 to 6:30. I tried to go to sleep almost all night, but I soon gave up. I did pretty good with my goal of no tea, I did have a few cups. I did have a few slips of Dr. Thunder. I watched Julie & Julia again. I’m sending it back today and will get a new movie for the weekend.

So I don’t have to go to class today. There is no reason as all the summer classes that meet on Mondays and Wednesdays had finals on Monday. So I don’t have to leave the house, except to go to the library. I’ve got a good bit of books to pick up today. That’s the only thing I had planned to do today until Dad dropped his list.

We normally clean the house on Saturdays, but things have just gotten a bit out of control so we haven’t been doing it. So he plans to do it today. Well I need to put up my clothes and finish some things in my room. It’s mostly clean, but I need to get rid of some stuff from this last term of school.

I walked for maybe ten minutes this morning. As I walked, I got pain on the outside of my hips. I would also get at times pains around my belly button and my back. I felt a little nauseated, but not too bad. After walking, I cooled down since I was about to go outside in the heat to go to the library.

I got seven books to read. I went to the library and came right back home. I cleaned up my room a bit, and then at about 11 I went to sleep. I had set my alarm clock, but it didn’t wake me. I woke up at about 8:30,with some familiar, but different pains. TOM had arrived. So now I’m feeling those pains instead of the others, I don’t know which I would rather have.

I haven’t decided on the blog about reviews for books, but I’m still thinking about it. I included everything that happened from tonight at 9:30 till midnight in tomorrow's blog. Well good luck.

Worrying More About Pains

My dad thinks my belly pains are just because of my weight. It does go away when I walk, but I'm watching my temperature. I pray every night that's not something serious. I'm really worried about it. I've had them for a month so anyone can see why I'm worried.

Now it's a bit after noon. I feel better. Pain is not so bad, since I've been walking, but I have nausea and I don't really feel like eating. I'm trying not to drink any tea today. For a southern girl that's going to be hard. We live on the stuff and I don't mean some Yankee tea, I mean some good ole southern iced tea. You in the south know what I'm talking about. My dad refuses to drink decaf, I do have some, so I'm stuck with regular. I could make it by the glass, but why bother.

Anyway, I’ve got some new books to read from my local library. There are all Christmas books by Debbie Macomber. I fell in love with The Snow Bride, the first book I read by her, and The Forgetful Bride. I’ll write what I think about the book here. I think I may start a blog on Romance novels. I read them and then tell you what I think. Hmm. I’ll need to think about it.

Well last night and early this morning, I was watching Julie & Julia. I really liked it. I cried when I saw Ground Zero in the movie. It’s a sweet story. And Julie is a bit like me, I think. I wrote a novel, but I haven’t done a thing with it. Anyway, I suggest if you want an uplifting story rent it. I’ll try to find a copy of the book at my local library. I know this about me, Julie, I would have never patience to do what you did.

Well with my almost two weeks of summer break, I plan to work on Chapter 5 of Persephone. It’s giving a bit of trouble, but I know that I’ll figure it out. It’s been at least a week since I updated so I know I need to get going, but no one can blame me for wanting just a tiny little bit to read books.

I’m thinking that’s all for now. I may come on again before bed, but I don’t think so, since bedtime may be very soon. So until next time.

Flat Tire On Way To Class

On my way to class on Wednesday, I got a flat, I think it might have been a blow out. It was a back tire. I didn't lose control. I almost made it to class. I pulled into a gas station near campus and waited for my dad. We replaced the back two tires.

Since the 8th or so of July, I have had pains in my belly. It will at times in the lower right and in the lower left. I do have back pain. I don't have a fever. The pain does go away when I walk.

Persephone: The Sequel to The Labyrinth - Post 1

I'm about to begin working on the second chapter.  This is my current Labyrinth story.  As the name suggests, I am using the myth of Persephone as the bases of the story, but of course having the characters in character.

I am improving my writing as I work on this story.  I plan to at least try and write a few different versions of each chapter before I send it off to my beta and thus updating it.
