No Show Professor

I copied this from where I originally posted it.  I just wanted to hear some more thoughts on the subject.

K. So when a professor is not going to show and when said professor has the entire classes email addresses, would it be too hard for the professor to email the class and tell them that he isn't coming into class?

Today I had my first cancelled class and I didn't know it for 30 mins. That's after the class was supost to start. I had been there on campus for an hour. If I didn't have something else I needed to do on campus today, I would be really mad.

I am a little, but not too much. I could have gone later than I did this morning if I had known. We only found out after someone texted him. Yes, this is my second on campus class, but I would have liked to know ahead of time that I didn't need to leave at around 7 am this morning.

I know that a few of the others in the class with me just happened to have a class right after the one we're in. So it wasn't too much of a deal, but for me, who is only taking this class on campus, it is a big deal. If I didn't have to go to campus for the fin aid thing, I would have wasted gas for nothing.

Late Mother and Bunny

I haven't really work on any of my stories.  I have another I am thinking of working on.  I may delete my Labyrinth story.  I don't know.  Oh, I did well on finals.  I do have some news.  My mother is dead.  She died back in April, but I didn't know at the time I last posted.

About me being the only girl in the house.  I lost my beloved pet bunny Oreo Damita this Feb.  I have had her since I was in tenth grade.  So she had been with me through so much.  I still miss her.  I got Buddy because I couldn't stay in my room alone without something there to talk to.  He does come up to the glass when I come near it, which reminds me of her.  I still miss her.  

School and Fanfiction

Not much again.  I'm waiting on my Beta to get my last chapter back to me.  I think after the Test tomorrow I may start working on the next chapter.  I need to plan my prequel to Labyrinth.  I know I'm rewriting the movie now, but I plan to use it to reinforce my prequel. 

I'm studying.  There isn't much time between now and Finals.  I can't register for Summer term yet cause I haven't gotten my awards letter.  So I know what I plan to take, but I can't join the classes. 


I'll try to post again this week, even though it seems no one is reading this.

Weight Loss

Well, not much to type now.  I will tell you that I am working on losing weight again.  I have done so before about two years ago.  I am now using Dr. Phil to help me.  So I hope this time I can keep it off.  I'll fill you all in on what happened the last time and I have more of myself to tell you about.

More About Me

Well, I'm home.  I have an A, 101, in BIO 101 right now, which makes me happy.  I'm more worried about ENG 252.  Hopefully I will do better on my latest paper and on the quizes and Final. 

Well, since this is only the second post, I thought I would fill you in a bit more, but I had to write that above.  I live with my dad and brother.  I'll explain why since it's getting to 6 years this month.

My mother walked out on us Easter Sunday 2004.  We have not seen her since.  I don't know what I will do if I do.  I have found out that she has lied to me almost my entire life.  So I'm still hurt.  I personally think I will never be healed.

Now that you know.  It's still hard.  We don't talk about her.  So I'm the only girl, well I wasn't until Feb of this year, but that's another post.

I'm currently going to a local Junior College and I plan to transfer to UAB once I'm finished.  I am working towards becoming an English Teacher.

I lived most of my life in a city just north of Birmingham, AL called Tarrant.  We moved recently because we didn't feel safe in our home and the schools were going down hill.  I now live 20 miles north of where I once lived.
